Event Details

The Farmington Libraries Maker Fair is where the community gathers to experience hands-on learning with the latest and greatest tech and gadgets, handicrafts, and more! Visit activity stations featuring low-tech and hi-tech projects for all ages and skill levels located throughout the Library. Take part in a small workshop or watch local artisans as they practice their craft. This and more awaits you at the Maker Fair!

This event is free and open to the public. Advanced registration required for workshops. Call 860-673-6791 or visit the library’s website, www.farmingtonlibraries.org, for details. A full schedule will be available in print and online starting March 1st.

The Library is looking for volunteers (ages 14+) to work in pairs staffing activity booths, greeting attendees, and helping with the setup and takedown of the event. Anyone interested should contact the Teen Services Librarian, Anna Boisvert, by email at aboisvert@farmingtonlibraries.org or in person at the Information Services Desk at the Main Library.
