Drop-in program.

This high-energy music and movement class will have us dancing and laughing!  We'll start with a story and then move to the music.

The Hug-A-Tree and Survive program is designed to teach children ages 5-12 how to keep from getting lost, what to do if they become lost, how to stay warm and dry, and how they can help searchers to find them.

Stop by the Teen Space to listen to an album, eat some snacks, and do a small craft!

To Kick-Off our All Ages Summer Reading program this year, The Farmington Libraries will host a Picnic and Celebration with entertainment and activities!  Our theme this year is Dragons, Dreams and Daring Deeds

Let’s move and groove together in the Library! We will read a fun book and do some dancing. We will meet in the Hoppin Gallery upstairs at the Barney. This is a drop in program.

Snuggle up to a great book at Pajama Storytime! Put on your pajamas and head to the Barney Library to join Miss Shana & Miss Amy for a special afternoon storytime.

Want to play Dungeons & Dragons? Stop by the library to join in on the action and thrills of classic dungeon delve adventuring run by Professional Game Master Justin.

Join the No Book Book Club where there's no assigned reading. This book club gives you the opportunity to make new friends and learn about many books in a one-hour meetup. 

Come join us at the beautiful Farmington Land Trust location for Summer stories and activities. 

Join us at Barney Library to try your hand at Scrapbook Journaling. Scrapbook Journaling isn't a written journal, it's a book full of visual imagery and inspiration.

Stop by the Teen Space to Make! You can select an item to print on our 3D-printer, work on a Glowforge project with our available materials, or just do some low-tech crafting! 

Invent the Summer features weekly STEM challenges created by kids, for kids! Complete each challenge for a chance to win fabulous prizes!

Stop by the Teen Space to decorate your own rubber duck! We'll have fabric, paper, hot glue, and paint for you to make your dream rubber duck!

Open to those going into Grades 7-12.
