This session we will explore Spring themes while practicing our early Science concepts.

Let’s move and groove together in the Library! We will read a fun book and do some dancing. We will meet in the Gallery upstairs at the Barney. This is a drop in program.

Ages 3-6. Each week we’ll watch a picture book come to life on our projector screen, followed by coloring or craft time!

Take some time for you! Drop into the Barney Library to take part in this adult coloring program.  Coloring is a great way to relax, bring your own materials or use some of ours.  No registration required.

Love graphic novels? Love manga? Register for Teen Graphic Novel Book Club! We'll discuss the book of the month, eat some snacks, and do an activity.

In Pint-Sized Picassos we share a story and explore a different art medium that will aim to focus on both early literacy and fine motor skills. Caregiver must accompany their child.

The Green Jazz Band has been delighting audiences in the Greater Hartford area with fresh interpretations of jazz standards, including classics from the Great American Songbook, bossa nova favorites, and jazzed up blues and pop.

This high-energy music and movement class will have us dancing and laughing!  We'll start with a story and then move to the music.

Phoenix Acrobats will be showcasing a celebration of Chinese Culture including martial arts, small musical performances, and other facets of the culture. 

Calling all Star Wars fans in Grades 5 to 12 join us at the Barney Library on Saturday, May 4th to create your own pool noodle lightsaber and join the light side or the dark side.
