This season, the Farmington Libraries are featuring compelling and engaging virtual lectures on a variety of topics, known as Fireside Chats, sponsored by the Library Company of Philadelphia.

The Library Company of Philadelphia was founded by Benjamin Franklin in 1731. It is currently home to extensive collections of historically significant manuscripts and other texts. Operating as an independent research library, the LCP's collections concentrate on American society and culture from the 17th through the 19th centuries.
