Young Writer's Club

This spring, local poets will visit to talk about their writing, share some poetry, and run a short writing exercise.

Vivian Shipley is a poet and teaches undergraduate and graduate poetry writing workshops. She is a Connecticut State University Distinguished Professor, and has taught at SCSU since 1969. She has published 10 books of poetry and 6 chapbooks. She is also a member of the University of Kentucky Hall of Distinguished Alumni. She lives in North Haven, CT, with her husband, Ed Harris.

Open to grades 7 - 12.
