What is the Human Library?

The Human Library is an event that aims to create dialog and understanding between people in our community. Individuals volunteer as human "books" that participants at the event can "read" by having one-on-one conversations. The goal is to share in a dialog about the individual life experiences of the human "book." "Books" will be members of the community who have volunteered in order to break down barriers. The Human Library provides the opportunity for the Farmington Library community to share and understand the experiences of others. Learn more at humanlibrary.org.
